Like Machu Picchu, Ha Long Bay is one of those destinations you just have to see once in a lifetime. The green seas of the Gulf of Tonkin are interspersed with little islands and limestone pillars, creating a picture-perfect panorama. In Vietnam, it is an exceptionally popular attraction. The greatest way to see the bay is by going on a houseboat trip for a few days, seeing the islands, swimming, and eating an abundance of delicious seafood! and In everyone’s price range, there are overnight cruises and quick boat excursions. I suggest staying on a houseboat for a couple of nights.
