Fansipan Peak reaches over 3,100 meters, which is the highest point of the tour. While mild effects like slight breathlessness can occur, true altitude sickness is rare due to the short time spent at the summit. We recommend moving slowly at the top complex. The overnight stays in Sapa town (1,600m) are at a comfortable altitude.
